A monthly salary from a US company is the life worth building. While that search is still open, there is a smaller kind of paid work you can do from the same table: a company asks what you think, and pays you for the time. A survey. A set of product questions. A video call about how you actually use an app. You stay home. The money is per study, in your name. It does not replace the job.
What this work is
Researchers need a real person, not a stock photo. A mother who pays bills in a certain app. A support agent who lives in a certain tool. A shopper in a certain city. They post a study. You apply. If you match, you answer.
Two shapes show up again and again:
- A survey you fill in on your own, often in one sitting.
- A live session, usually a video call, where someone asks you to walk through a task and say what you notice.
Respondent is one place those studies are listed. The study should name the format, the length, and the pay before you accept. A video call and a five-minute survey are different products. The number on that study is the offer. This site is not promising you a salary, a weekly total, or that you will be picked.

What it is not
This is not an employee job. It is not benefits, a visa, or a title for your resume. You apply to studies. Many will not choose you. That is the work: a match, not a shift you are owed.
Do not invent a job, a country, or a product you have never used. A false profile gets you removed, and it burns the evening you could have spent on a real application.
Do not pay anyone to unlock studies, buy a kit they tell you to purchase first, or send a code from your bank. That pattern is in how to identify remote job scams. A real study tells you the pay before you start. You do not send them money to begin.
Who gets picked
The profile is the application. Country, language, the job you actually do, the tools you actually open, whether you are a parent. Many studies want one specific person. A woman doing support, running a small shop, or using an app from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, or Turkey can be exactly who a team is trying to hear. If the study says residents of one country only, and that is not you, skip it. Hiding where you live does not help. It ends the study after you already blocked the hour.
English matters when the call is in English. If you can do that call, say so. If you cannot, do not book it. Learn English is there if the gap is the language, not the opinion.
How to start
- Sign up and fill the profile with the truth, including your country.
- Read the pay, the length, and whether it is a survey or a call before you apply.
- Answer screening questions the way you would answer a recruiter: short, specific, and true.
- For a call, protect a quiet corner and a working camera. The room is the same one in the remote interview setup.
- Write down what you completed and when the payment showed up. Treat it as extra money. A study you signed an agreement about is not a story for your next interview.
Fit it around the day you already have
A short survey can happen after the children are down. A one-hour call needs a window you can keep. Do not book it across school pickup and then apologize from the car. Researchers remember a no-show, and so does your own afternoon.
If you are younger and the study allows a public place, read that line before you leave the house. A café is fine for some surveys. It is a bad room for a call about your bank.
The paycheck that changes the month is still a role a company pays every month. The reason that paycheck is worth the search is in why a US salary goes further outside the US. Studies are the bridge, not the house.
FAQ
Will I get paid for signing up?
No. You get paid for studies you are selected for and finish. Read the amount on that study. Nobody on this site can tell you how many you will get.
Do I need a US bank account?
Read the payout methods in your account before you count on the money. Do not send anyone a login to your bank. Gift cards and other payout methods are normal on this kind of platform. A stranger asking for your password is not.
Can I do this from outside the United States?
Some studies want a specific country. Your profile should say where you live. Apply only where you qualify.
Start with one true profile
Pick studies you can actually speak to. Keep the evening job search beside them. Another from-home way to earn while you look is UGC. The roles that pay every month are on remote jobs.
