She Works Remotely (“SWR,” “we”) operates sheworksremotely.app. This policy describes data we actually collect to run accounts, job applications, and career tools. It is not a claim of certifications we do not have.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, password or social login tokens, role (seeker or company).
• Profile and application materials you upload, including resumes and answers to job questions.
• Career-tool inputs: files you upload for resume scoring, LinkedIn screenshots, interview practice audio/session data, and related usage (including token balances).
• Job activity: searches, saved jobs, applications submitted on the platform.
• Technical data: cookies for session and locale, approximate device/browser information, and analytics via Google Tag Manager when enabled.
• Payment data for plans or tokens is processed by payment providers; we store the minimum needed to fulfill the purchase (for example, plan status), not your full card number.

How we use it

We use this information to create your account, show jobs, run career tools, process applications, prevent abuse, send transactional email, and — if you opt in — newsletters or job alerts. We do not sell personal information.

Job listings from other sites

Some job descriptions on SWR come from employer posts on this site. Others are aggregated from public job boards and ATS feeds. Those descriptions belong to the original employers. Applying may send you off-site. Read that employer’s privacy policy as well.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who host the app, send email, process payments, run analytics, or provide AI features you choose to use. When you apply to a job, the employer (or their ATS) receives the materials you submit. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and your choices

You can update profile and privacy settings in your account. You can ask us to delete an account by emailing hello@sheworksremotely.app. We keep records as long as needed to operate the service, complete transactions, and meet legal obligations.
