A Job Post Women Abroad Can Actually Evaluate

She is reading your post on her phone after the kids are asleep, from a country you may never visit. Write the work, the hours, the pay, and whether you can hire her there.

The candidate who would be excellent is often reading you at 10pm, in another country, with one free hand. She will skip a post that hides the work, and she will skip a post that asks for everything. She is deciding whether this job lets her stay with her family and get paid in a currency that changes her month. Write so she can tell.

Before any adjective:

  1. Title. The words people search. "Customer Support, Americas overlap" is a job. "Happiness Hero II" is an internal joke.
  2. The work. Five to eight sentences on a normal week.
  3. Requirements. Only what you will reject someone for lacking. Move the rest to nice-to-have. A woman who lacks a nice-to-have should be able to apply without apologizing.
  4. Where she may live. Employee in which countries, contractor, or a payroll partner. "Remote" with a hidden US-only rule wastes her evenings and your pipeline. She is also comparing what the pay covers where she lives. A monthly sketch is the cost of living comparison.
  5. Overlap, equipment, and how to apply. One path. Hours, not vibes. Say whether you provide the laptop.

Read it on your phone. If the first screen is benefits wallpaper, move the work up. Pay can be a range or a sentence that it is discussed before a final round. Silence is a choice she notices. You do not have to publish a number you have not decided. You do have to decide before you ask for three interviews.

Have someone who does the job cross out any requirement the current team does not use. That edit improves the applicants more than a paragraph about culture.

The longer checklist is how to write a remote job post. Candidates judging you from the other side can use how to identify remote job scams when the listing is vague and the ask is money or identity documents.

She is not a diversity metric. She is a person who can do the work from the city where her life already is. Write the post so she can see that, then stop.
